Canned Teen was a labor of love I worked on in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Canned Teen released five cassettes in 1998-1999. I was inspired by The Mt. Goats, The Meat Puppets, and later Hayden Desser. My songs were first recorded on a small handheld cassette recorder, and later using dual cassette decks and a proper mixer. Tracks 19-25 were written and recorded after 1999.
